Juni Chair

    • Description

    The Juni Chair is a wooden frame child's chair with a padded contoured vinyl seat and backrest. The backrest features adjustable lumbar support and recline. The seat height and depth are adjustable. The armrests are made of wood and are height adjustable.

    Inclusion Possibilities

    • Supports access and participation in floor-based play or group experiences where children are seated on the floor

    • Can be used for individual and/or group experiences

    • Educators should consider how this seat will be used within the care environment to maximise children’s participation in the program and to facilitate peer interaction
    • Educators should consult with therapists and parents about appropriate timeframes when using the chair

    • This equipment can be used outdoors in dry conditions but must be stored indoors to minimise surface damage

    Rifton Blue Wave Bath Seat

    This bath seat can also be used for messy activities. It is a portable, lightweight, and supportive seat where the child sits low enough to be able to enjoy activities at ground level.

    CAP Tilt Stool

    The Cap Tilt Stool can be used for children who need to practice stability, build trunk, head and neck control, and build upper limb strength.

    The angle of the stool allows a gravity assisted strong anchor point for the feet.

    Sloped Writing Board

    An angled writing board can reduce the need for neck and trunk flexion during tabletop activities e.g. writing or reading. This may help where a child has restricted upper body movement and strength (reduces need for reach, promotes functional hand positions for fine motor tasks) or a visual impairment. It promotes a more upright trunk position, good hand position for drawing activities and may reduce eye strain for visual scanning activities.
