    • Increase opportunities to participate independently with peers in experiences where children are standing

    • Supports the child’s body allowing the upper limbs to be free for use
    • Enables the child to experience the environment at the same level as their peers

    Things to consider

    • Use of standing frames should only occur for periods of time where the child’s peers are also standing
    • Educators should consult with therapists and parents about appropriate timeframes for use

    This is a prone (forward-tilted) upright standing frame suitable for a child who needs support to stand but may not be able to tolerate a fully upright position. It can be adjusted to accommodate a child from approximately 12 months to 5 years of age.
