    The CAP Access Steps are designed to assist children with limited balance or short stature, to transfer safely onto change tables, or to assist with accessing wash basins etc. The steps can also provide support for other activities.

    Inclusion Possibilities

    • Enables children to be changed in a safe and respectful manner
    • Supports individual children’s hygiene needs
    • Encourages increased independence in self-help skills

    Things to consider

    • Educators should consider children’s health, hygiene, privacy and dignity when using any toileting aids

    Storage and use

    • This equipment is designed for use in bathrooms and needs to be stored indoors
