Mental Health Week Special Event

Supporting All Children Starts with Supporting Ourselves: Why Educator Wellbeing Matters

Presenter: Candice Harvey

Candice Harvey is a performance coach, keynote speaker, author, and workshop facilitator with over 15 years of experience helping people build confidence, resilience, and wellbeing. Known for her engaging, down-to-earth style and practical insights, Candice empowers individuals and teams to thrive by improving self-awareness, mindset, and everyday wellbeing practices.

The Session:
As educators, we are constantly supporting children to navigate emotions, challenges, and everyday experiences through co-regulation. But what happens when our own wellbeing is running on empty?

In this engaging online session during Mental Health Week, Candice Harvey will explore why self-regulation begins with prioritising our own wellbeing. Drawing on her expertise in mindset, and human behaviour, Candice will unpack the important connection between educator wellbeing and the ability to effectively co-regulate with children.

Participants will leave with practical strategies to strengthen their own emotional wellbeing, build resilience, and show up as their best selves for all children in their care.
